Meet Abbie, cubicle dweller by day, blogger by night. Acting as her online diary, the blog features a no-holds-barred, true life, gritty account of her sometimes funny, sometimes painful, often dirty love life. Oh, and she doesn't always change the names to protect the innocent. After a date with coworker, Toby, she has a new reason to hate Mondays. When the post goes viral, Toby seeks revenge and enlists the help of his buddy Parker to do it. Both guys soon realize when she isn't bad-mouthing men, she's pretty likable, maybe even lovable, which really puts a crimp in Toby's revenge plot. As if her life life and work life colliding aren't challenging enough, Abbie has a crazy roommate with a vacuuming obsession, a serious problem with alcohol resulting in BUI blogging under the influence, and a broken heart. All may be fair in love and war, but what happens next will rock the internet and her world.

The Abbie Diaries The Complete Series edition by Amelie Stephens Romance eBooks Reviews

A crazy and funny story that kept me guessing who and when. I think this is my first love square book. I found myself pulling for the opposing teams for most of the book but was quite happy with the way it turned out. Abby, Toby, Parker, and Maggie are all great and I'm glad everything worked out so well for them. Poor Jo left me feeling sorry for her even if she was quirky, I felt she was trying.
This book reminds me of a Shakespearean play. Everyone is doing things to get back at someone else or with the wrong person. It is quite the twisted romantic comedy. And a romantic comedy it is.
Abbie, Toby, Parker, and Maggie get up to some crazy schemes all because of one drunken blog post. The rest is to much to spoil for readers so just grab this and enjoy rolling your eyes at these 4's childishness.
Abbie and Maggie are both best friends and roommates. Toby and Parker are also roommates and friends. When Toby and Abbie, coworkers, go on a date and it doesn't go well, Abbie, drunkenly writes a half-true blog about it and even uses his name. Toby, wanting to get even, gets Parker to help him. Only Parker actually likes her… and so does Toby. Not unexpectedly, things go awry. This is pretty funny. The characters’ conflicts help make the story fun.
I have this book only 4 stars because although it was a good story line, it was very immature. They are acting more like teenagers than adults. I read the whole story through and if it was want to be a comedy it did not hit the mark there either. I was not badly written and the characters believable, just not the actions of adults.
Abbie works in an office and in her spare time writes a blog. Many of the blog entries chronicle her dating experience. Against her better judgment and self-imposed rules to not date guys from work, she agrees to go out with Toby, a co-worker. Unfortunately, Abbie has a history of drinking too much and when the date doesn't go like she planned she writes a blog entry. This sets off a chain of revenge attempts that include not only Abbie and Toby but also their friends Maggie and Parker. This involves a lot of trickery. This story was good but I found some of it awkward reading. I did like the plot and the blog entries.
Going Viral - Book 1
Abbie is hilarious. She causes total chaos with just a click of a button and has no earthly idea how to fix it. Toby is not all bad, he's just a man who has been hurt and poor Parker is just caught up in it all. This was an excellent read and I'm left begging for more, as to which I see the author has two more books in this series; So if you will pardon me, I'm off to get these and see how much more trouble our lovable heroine can get herself into.

Going Out - Book 2
Playing with people's feelings is never a good way to start anything in life especially a relationship. This second part to the series showcases Abbie's relationship with Parker and her other relationship with Toby. It's a back and forth match and in the end no clear winners. Abbie though tends to show her immaturity by stooping to the guys level in the end. It well be interesting to see what the next book brings for the trio.

Going Steady - Book 3
The final installment in the series brings everything to the front. Everyone has to face the roses. Overall I enjoyed this series. It had some funny moments and it had some aw moments, so overall it wasn't bad. There were some typos in all three books that had to be overlooked and at times I felt like I was reading about teens, instead of 20-sometings, but overall I enjoyed the story.
Abbie is a dating blogger so when her date with office crush Toby goes awry, she blogs it, but somehow Abbie never thought to write under a pseudonym or give the guys she mentions aliases--can anyone say "libel?" She didn't mean to publish it, but a well-meaning, but overreaching roommate goes ahead and publishes it anyway.

Toby doesn't take it well and sets in motion a plan of his own to teach her a lesson.

This book starts out pretty fun. I'd say the first half is a good read. I really enjoyed it, couldn't put it down, but then the over-the-top revenge scheme goes over-over-the-top. And then Abbie's revenge on the revenge goes even more over the top. The book stopped being interesting and started getting absurd at about the 50% mark and I gave up at 78%--78%, really? it got that bad that I couldn't read the last 30-40 pages or so? Yup. Add in grammar errors that were a bit too common for me (that I was letting slide for the first half because I was otherwise enjoying the story) and the slightly stiff dialogue and narrative due to the author's near refusal to use contractions (again, I overlooked this for the first half) and the book just became too tedious to read.
